New Addition Update

Well I suppose it’s about time to update my blog. My mind is still mush, hence why I haven’t written as much as I normally do. But now that I’ve told the necessary people in person I will tell it here now. The reason for my mushy mind is that I am a mommy to be again. I am 7 weeks along and doing well this time. So far I’ve made it longer than with my last one which is wonderful news. I have my second ultrasound tomorrow and will hopefully be able to see baby’s heart beat.

The Husband and I are both excited. But we are trying to keep our excitement reigned in for a little while longer until we reach that “safe” point. But I figure anything longer than before is a good thing. It’s kind of like an early Christmas present. Right now my due date is August 8th, give or take when it decides to come along. Poor me and poor Hubby due to the fact that I have to be very pregnant during summer months. I am normally cranky then anyway; don’t wanna see what I’ll be like this year. LOL But we’re finally going to get central air put in with no ifs, ands, or buts about it.

So far my symptoms of being pregnant aren’t too bad. Just tired, sore and now finally starting to feel the nausea. But thank God I haven’t started actually upchucking yet. I’d like to skip that part. We have told Little Guy yet we’re probably going to wait for a little bit before we do. But I think he has ESP. We were headed into town the other night and he started telling me how babies are born (very knowledgeable for a 5 year old) and then he tells me he wants a big sister. I laughed and told him that would be kind of hard to do. So he amended it to a little sister, and then followed it with “You need to have a baby and it has to be a girl”. It was very funny and very cute. I am guessing that he is tired of boys. He has 3 half brothers (only 1 of those belongs to my Hubby) and his daycare is nothing but boys. So I am sure a little sister would be somewhat welcome.

The Hubby also had some great news this afternoon. A position in the networking department of the company he works with might be coming open. It’s a job he would love to have and it would help out so much money wise and time wise. I’m hoping they will hire him for it if they post the position. I know he would be good at it. We will keep our fingers crossed.

Other than that not much else is going on. My birthday is coming up Jan. 5th and Tits and I will take a short road trip to the casinos in Iowa. I will be 23 and I have yet to set foot in a casino so it should be fun. Tits and I have talked about taking a road trip since before we graduated high school we just haven’t done it yet. But this year is a year for change. I’m hoping to maybe also talk her into going to Henry Doorly Zoo in Omaha too. We will see though. I might have to save that for a trip the Husband and I will take.

But I better get back to work and start to getting my desk organized (like that will ever really happen). I hope everyone has a great day/night/morning!!
