Merry Christmas

Well I figured I should post something before Christmas. Right now I am waiting for lunchtime to get here. I am having major cravings for turkey, gravy, stuffing and pumpkin pie. Haven’t had many cravings lately but that one hit me first thing this morning when I got to work. I’m surprised food even sounds good considering I am nauseous again today.

We had our second ultrasound on Wednesday and I’m happy to announce we have a heartbeat! We saw it for like the split second the Dr. lingered on it. It was really crappy weather out and they rushed everything because they were wanting to close. But it was still exciting. Although I’ve had to quit reading up on stuff. I got rather woozy this morning after reading about labor and other nasty details I’d like to skip. I’ve decided that I will worry about that stuff when it is time.

The Husband and I finished our Christmas shopping last night. We made out pretty well and only had to go to one store. We got even luckier and that store was not busy due to poor weather conditions. Little Guy is ready for Christmas. And even though I have explained and showed repeatedly over the past few weeks when exactly Christmas is he’s still woken up every morning this wee asking where Santa is. The mind of a five year old. It will drive the mind of a grown adult crazy. He also says he has all of the angles covered by being on both “lists” (naughty and nice). I guess he figures the one cancels the other one out.

So far in the Christmas’ we’ve had him he has not asked to stay up to watch for Santa (not that he has the ability to stay awake that long). When I was a kid I would always try but would settle for someone else in the house or on TV to say they saw him. I was more interested in catching the Easter Bunny. One year I thought I’d found actual proof he existed and had been at our house. But in later years when I examined the long forgotten “Easter Bunny Fur” I realized it was cat fur, from my cat. The sad part is how long it took me to figure that out. But I always enjoyed in believing in the unbelievable, still do. Little Guy on the other hand I think will be less gullible and come to terms with everything at a far younger age than I. But it is fun while it lasts I guess.

Well I hope everyone has a safe and wonderful Christmas and I will look forward to all of your next entries!!

Have a great Christmas L. and it must be a real thrill to hear a heartbeat. My youngest is getting into mid 30's and as we all know the only sound back in those days of pregnacy was a wretching from the bathroom in the morning. (only a joke)
Have a great Christmas and enjoy the little guys Christmas, for it's not our Christmas anymore, but thier joy and fun as we watch.
I'll probably drop a blog tomorrow, this week has been hell on wheels, but I got a $1,000 bonus from one client and told I was almost as good as,... well we'll let that go til another time. Have a peaceful, Merry, and Happy Christmas with those you love!
